I had a 2006 sv1000 for a while. I didn't even own a car because this was when I lived in florida.

once I got "use" to the bike, I just ended up doing crazy bonkers ****. and decided I was going to die If I kept the bike, lol.

so now I drive this old POS that is probably just as much of a death trap.

I see 400ish rwhp s/c mustang beat 600s at the track ALOT. Its a drivers race at the strip IMO and most people can't launch a bike nor are regular street bikes setup for drag launching.

 

A stock 99-04 mustang will beat a ninja 250 they top out at about 80mph.

 

key phrase being people can't launch the bike.

2010 kawasaki 250's still run mid/low 14's in the 1/4mile so they could beat a lot if not most 2v mustangs.

 

I have a CBR 600 and from a 3rd gear roll he should have yanked ya pretty hard. He was prolly in the wrong gear.

 

Hes got you in weight to power by a lot you will need a built block and full boost to even think about having a chance even at a roll. No worries though, nothing fair about that race, just fun.
