Ultimate 5.0 Sleeper
So i was at this stop light and a guy in a old 5.0 is next to me. WE exchange compliments on each others cars and he revs at me. Didnt sound very loud so i reved back. He had E/T's on the back and skinnies up front. But i figured he was doing it for the looks (b/c a bunch of 5.0's around here do it for the looks and dont really need them). So i think nothing of it and i punch it when the light goes green.
Well when the light turned green his car suddenly didnt sound so quiet anymore...oh no....no no no...IT PERCKED UP BIG TIME!!!
He pulled the wheels off the ground and was GONE

Hows it the ulitmate sleeper if it has skinnys and E/T drags when you have no idea what it runs???If you have a low 14 second car ,his could only be 13 second car to beat you,Right?So I wouldnt call it the ultimate sleeper unless you really know what it runs

a friend of mine (who owns a hotrod shop) has a white fox, full stock appearance, with a built 460 in it. he did his best to make it sound tame, and he baits plenty of unsuspecting people into races...his car is the best "sleeper" that i have ever seen.

yeah watch out for those. Theres a cop that lives 2 houses down from me that has a Twin Turbo 5.0 Lx .. the thing looks like a plain stock clean fox body, hell it even has the stock rims on it. And boy do always see him cruise down my street. Wouldnt wanna mess with him haha.

Pretty hard to believe he pulled the wheels on the street w/o any prep whatsoever. I've had a few people think I pulled the wheels before, but all it was is a large seperation b/w the fenderwell and the tire, especially when you have skinnies on it.

i have seen vehicles lift the tires..a friend of mine has a 67 hemi gtx..tubbed, so on..running 10s on "street tires"...he can pull the front wheels if the tires are heated up...but he owns a performance shop and that is his "slow car"...i wouldnt doubt that someone can do it...but its not easy...
