Default St Thomas Dragway

Does anybody know what is going on with it? I know that it's for sale but it was last year too, and they were open for a little while.

Dale - how are things going? I haven't heard anything from my other friends over on that side of the border. I know a couple of them went to St. Thomas at the end of the season last year.

I just checked on dragstrip finder http://www.staginglight.com/links/tr...r.html#Ontario and it links to the St. Thomas web site which says it is opening April 2, 2011 for the season

Hey Jim, long time no hear from, I finally picked up another Stang, It's a turd for now, but in time. I know that Milan opens on the same day, but there should be 500 cars there, and there should be 20 at St Thomas.

I tried to pull up their site and there was nothing there, that's why I was asking if anybody had any info, and I know the track is for sale. Did you ever get there? It's not the greatest track but any time you can go to a track and make 30 passes in 4 hours, I think it's worth it.

I see you kicked it up several notches with the charger .......

Never made it to St. Thomas, but probably will try to get there this summer sometime. I know a couple of other guys over on that side of the border, and since they don't have their passports yet they can't get over here to the track so I hit Grand Bend a couple of times with them.

And yes, the car is a lot different from the last time you saw it!

ummmm....ya, mid 12? That's a bit different, I just got this car about a month ago. I was looking for 6 months, and found somebody's baby, I was up in Toronto looking at cars, in Royal Oak looking at an SVO, and find this one 2 blocks from my mother's house.....lol, go figure huh. It's pretty much bone stock for now, but not a bit of rust under or on the body. There were cob webs on the undercarriage, lol. I'm expecting a low 15 from this until I get to work on it.
