my parents just got a new 05 nissan maxima 3.5 well my dads been talking trash so we went out and raced yesterday and i was surpised at how fast that car is. its got 265 hp and 255ft pounds of torque. well the first run was from a 45mph roll and he stayed nexed top me entell about 85 then buy about 125 i had 4 cars on him. the the second race was from a dead stop. iit was my first launch with my new clutch so didnt know what to expect and got a horrible launch. i bogged way down when i dumpd it. i was still right next to him anf then at about 50 or 60 mph i stated to pull and then by around 125 i let off and had about 4 or 5 cars on him. i wish he would have wanted to race me earlyer before i filled up lol. i had a fulll tank of gas and a 190 pound passenger. but it was fun. do any of you know what thosde cars run in the 1/4 mile

 

i found some times for a 2003, which i believe it about the same...running mid to high 14s
