Default SRT8 Jeep kill

This past Saturday I got back in town kinda late from the dragstrip in Fayetteville, NC so I decided to ride out for a few minutes. I'm talking to one of my good friends then all of a sudden a beautiful Red SRT8 Jeep pulls up and the back window rolls down and 2 cute blond headed chicks ask me if I wanted to run, I replied "I don't care" lol. So they ask what I had I pointed to my stang and said this POS. SO they said no under the hood I said oh stock long block with bolt on's. Everything is quiet in the Jeep for a few seconds they the 2 guys up front said ok let do it, 20 roll so I said ok.

We pull out on the Hi-way and slow down and we got to 10mph the guy in the passenger seat said dead stop, I shrugged my shoulders and said ok.
3 honks and we are off I slip the clutch a bit from about 2,000 rpms get a little wheel spin lift and smack it and hooks up in 1st and pull right at a 1/2 car pull 2nd and start a steady pull slam 3rd and 4th with me still kinda creaping out on them when I shut down at the top of 4th I was about 2 1/2 to MAYBE 3 cars out give or take.

I slow down and they pull up and the driver and passenger have huge grins and both give me the thumbs up. They come back and talk, the Jeep had a CAI, tune, and catback. I don't know if it was a 2wd or a AWD jeep but it still ran good and I was rather impressed with them having 4 people to me just having my friend ride with.

It was a great day and night haha.

EDIT: I was also on the hookingest 205/55/16 street tires I've ever seen lol

You went to Fayetteville!? That's where I run at man, you should've let me know you were going and I would've rode over. Were they having a test-n-tune Saturday?

Good run against the SRT. From what I have seen, they can run 13.3-13.5 at 100-103 stock. Its all about the hole shot with those things.

Good run bro! The SRT GC's are absolute pure sex.... gas mileage, not so much.

They had an event down there called "Dragging Rights", or something like that Stone. He said the track SUCKED though...... Put it this way, our dad only pulled a best of 1.9 60 and (I think) 11.7 @121... :/ This was in his '11 gt. And he can arguably drive better than the op

Thanks bro!!! That thing is sexy as hell haha

but dad went 1.97 60' 11.79@124 power shifting and at MIR he went 1.68 60' spinning 11.44@124 granny shifting right before he blew out the stock slave cylinder

he is still getting used to the gitrag trans but throw him in a fox and he makes my shifting look slow :/

Ah, sorry to hear about the track prep. They usually do a little better than that. The biggest help is having plenty of big dogs with big slicks keeping the track right. A bunch of bikes and street tires spells trouble for those in need of a sub 2.0 60'.
