Yep did it at Rockingham dragstrip back in november of 08 and did it on dunlop winter sport tires.

 

The Rock is a fast track. Always in top notch shape.... in fact they're open to the street car crowd this weekend.

This was today.... with our mom. Im on the right..... Not sure which one of us has the weight advantage anymore!

It was definately a great run.... I didn't have a clue what to expect going into the run, but now I have a better understanding of what it's capable of...

As far as the gears go.... I'm not sure what the hell Im gonna go with. Not to sound like a wuss, but I'm thinking the 3.31-3.55 route purely for the mpgs. I believe after the tune, cai, and exhaust, the car will really really wake up, and the aggessive gear won't be soooo necessary. ANYthing is an improvement over these 2.73's.

And 97, I am with you on the gears... 3.27's, 3.31's, or 3.55's all would be a nice improvement over stock and still not kill the practicality of the car.
