Default 370z kill!

I was on my way to a local meet that goes on in my area every tuesday night, and a 370z decided to do a fly by. I wasnt going to bite but we both ended up first at the light next to each other ;]. We waited for the light to turn green and I got a great launch off the line and literally just walked away like he was standing still. Shockingly he pulled into the meet too lol. After I parked I went over to talk to him and he had a catback and said he got a **** launch but I still would've definitely took him. He had nothing but compliments for my car and it was pretty cool to run one since stock vs stock they are basically even, so it shows what my mods have done to my car

Good run man! Congrats, and goes to show what all your hard work, and time has given you in return lol.

Are those 370s really that fast stock? If so, those v6s sound well engineered...

Hell yea, good run. Your mods definitely get credit for that win, otherwise if you were still stock it could've potentially been way closer or even a loss if he had of launched right. I like those 370s. Just sucks they are maxed from the factory. What fun is it if you can't mod and improve, lol?

I dont think they are even. I would pick the mustang everytime in a straightline. and the z on the twisties stock for stock. But good run regardless

Do what meow? Use some punctuation so we know wtf you're saying man.

I think you're saying the cars are not even stock for stock, which is incorrect. Both run mostly mid 13s in the low 100s, so I'd say they are pretty even in the 1/4.

No brother, thats a fact. I leave my opinion out of these threads for the most part. The 370z and the 2010 GT are titty for tat. One just handles a little better.

In stone's defense- I don't usually see people racing along twisting cliffs in the middle of the flat midwest, or even curving roads in general... But I see where you're coming from.

LOL at meow!

i think by opinion you mean fact.....

To tell the truth, 370Zs can exceed 106 mph in the 1/4. 3 valve GTs do good to even touch 104-105 stock. The OP is modded and therefore walked that Nissan, Thats the glory of Stangs, you can mod them and they'll respond well to it. 370s are what they are, and in stock form they are a faster, but won't mod for ****.
