Dang, that launch thing is cool! Thanks! Very slick F-Body you got there! I'm a big GM fan as well...

Well done, my first time on a track I was leaving the pits and ran over my brothers' cooler...lol. I think his was a 87 lx and it ran pretty consistent 14.2s. But I'm up near Detroit. Weather and altitude plays havoc on drag strips. You did well to get fairly consistent times.

Thanks! I'm really hoping for a lower time with a lil cooler evening and different launch rpm and shift point...

Stop and get a bag of ice and ice the intake between runs if it's just test and tune. Put it on the intake between runs.

If you are bracket racing, keep the car as hot as you can get it. With street cars, the farther you go into the night, the faster you will be back on the track. That's my advice and trust me on that, I've won before. Guys always look at me like I'm weird because I idle my car in the staging lanes to keep it warm. (it's pretty quiet too) I was once back on the track within 3 mins of my last run and a full throttle blast really heats up a motor.

I'll keep that in mind! It was just street car/grudge racing night at the track...

If your hood was painted to match, that would be a stunning car. As it is, it still looks really really good!

Figured I'd throw that out there.
