I went down to oklahoma city this past weekend to visit a buddy of mine, and while out there they had some grudge races going on at their local drag strip so we decided to swing out and take a look. these cars were all sick, put the cars i see at the local tracks in michigan to shame. anyways when we pulled in we saw a BEAUTIFUL green/black notchback that had a procharger f3 packed in there. he ran twice and both times shut down because he was fighting for traction. on his third run he finally got a relatively clean pass and did the 1/8 mile in 5.4@142, then he decided to lose traction, smacked the right side wall then turned straight into the opposite wall and rolled twice. luckily the driver was ok but i'm sure that the cars toast, i wasn't able to get a pic of it before he left unfortunately. i recorded a vid but stopped it right before he crashed(stupid me). All these cars were racing in 95* heat, makes me wonder what they could do if they came to michigan where it's 60* sometimes lol. anyways here's a few vids i took down there, i know they're not good but you can atleast hear some of these beasts. all the fast cars were running mid to low 5's in the 1/8.

Before I even read this post I'm responding... You drove down to OKC and yet didn't say anything to me? You are dead to me sir.

Edit: Yeah there are a lot of people around these parts that have just ridiculously fast cars. Obviously there is always something faster, but its pretty impressive to watch.

 

ever been on French road in Detroit? Most fast cars in Detroit never see a track.
