Did you line the K-member back up exactly where you had it before? You gotta look for the round wear marks where it bolted up before.. or you're alignment will be off, as you are now aware, lol.

 

Good run man even more so from that high of a roll! I'll def agree if he had brake boosted and did some powershifting you would of been done for!! lol

I also say good move on dropping the k-member it literally cuts the instal time in half. Just gotta get the alignment after the fact lol, and if I remember right I thought the flowtechs had some fitment issues and thats why I never got those for my gf's 2v.

 

the fitment itself was great, LOTS of room around the trans. but maybe that's why they're hitting the body somewhere lol. and stone i got it a lot better, i loosened it all up and readjusted it with the bolt marks and it vibrates a lot less, still a little there, and my steering wheel is a tad off but a lot better. i think i may just live with it lol.

Alright there's a redo planned for this saturday! He's got a little better tune, i've got longtubes. we're also doing a lower roll this time(around 20). since his tune still isn't dialed in perfect yet i doubt he'll be brake boosting or power shifting so i may still have a chance.

I begged and begged for a dig race but he just doesn't want to since he's never launched the car yet.

20 is the top of first so i should do alright, I'm guessing he's gonna start in 2nd anyways. also i figured out he's not running meth anymore, which is also why he's down a few lbs of boost than at the beginning of the summer. the pump failed a month after he got the car and blew the motor and he's just now getting it figured out.

That's not how stracing works... Fair is fair. If you give him a roll, he should give you a dig. Perhaps you need to up your negotiation game.

I know in this case it's not a big deal since this isn't a full on grudge race. Just trying to help a brotha out.
