Default almost beat an evo.

had a quick run with my buddies car, evo8, usual bolt ons, stock shortblock/head, 272 cams, gt30 turbo at about 24psi i believe he said, and meth/pump gas. the car is not tuned, just has a safe tune on it. with 28psi and a good tune the car made 430ish awhp earlier this year.

anyways, did a 40 roll(he actually didn't want a dig because he's not used to launching the car, i would have preffered a dig) i was in 2nd he was in 3rd, on the 3rd honk I pull about a car and then i hear his turbo and he pulls back even, i bumped into 3rd and he shifted to 4th slowly and i pulled back ahead a car, then i heard the whoooooosh again and he pulled back and by 110 he had a fender on me. it was actually closer than i expected given my cars horrible top end and i'm assuming he's still in the 350whp area. if he would have brake boosted and shifted fast it would have been a different story but all well, I almost had him lol.

Not bad considering his mods. Do you have any idea of what those things weigh?

I love close races like that. Good run, Greddy. I'd be very pleased if I were you too.

A dig would've been interesting. I'd give you the nod in that situation, mainly cause its so easy enough to fudge an AWD launch.

i see in your sig you have nos, was you spraying?

yes i was spraying a 125 shot, no way would i have kept up without it. I was very pleased tho, before that he was telling me that he was on 10psi since it wasn't tuned and i was kinda pissed at my car after how close it was. then he told me it was mid 20's and my opinion changed lol.

I just installed longtubes today actually. and building a forged motor for it as we speak.

I was thinking about LT's too but man my car is so frigging low. Just wondering what exhuast are you running right now??

Yeah, you might have a hard time with long tubes Soldier. I have BBK's with H&R Super Sports, and it does suck sometimes lol. I wouldn't go back though. From what i hear it can depend on the brand of long tubes though.
