The Evo is going to definitely be in the mid 120's... No way it is pulling on you that hard unless its trapping in Z06 territory.

From watching the videos tho it almost seems like the 28's are too tall and make the car fall out of tge powerband a little bit going into 3rd... Could just be me tho.

????? Shifting from 2nd to 3rd is a static ratio, so he would be going from 6k RPMS to 4k RPMS (5.8k to 3.5k or whatever, just using the numbers as an example) every time no matter what tire he has on there, the tire will directly effect his acceleration and top end, but not how much his car falls off between gears.

That's what I was basing my opinion off of (post above this one^^^ )I was thinking mid-upper 120s minimum. Most likely bumping 130ish as stated before though.

if he's out again this weekend I'm gonna try and get a roll race set up with the evo and the cbr just to see where it'd be trap wise. this cbr was the one i beat last year with my '95 on spray, i wish i still had that car right now it'd be a fun race with the evo.
