Default two losses tonight

Well I had a full bottle and the weather was perfect today so I was trying to get as many races lined up as I could, but a lot of people bailed on me, and my buddy that just got the termi wouldn't race because he brought his wife with him . but anyways I got 2 races in, a 20 roll against the evo that i raced before, and a dig race with a 04 cbr600rr. the evo race was bad news bears. I dunno what was wrong with his car the last time i raced him, but I didn't expect this, he put like 5+ cars on me. The bike race went better than the evo did, I had my slicks on and launched on the spray(it felt great btw), he fell back a little as he couldn't keep his front wheel down, but by about 60 he passed me and put prolly 2/3 cars on me by a little over 100.

for those that dont know the evo is a stock motor, ported head, 272 cams, gt30 turbo at 28lbs, usual bolt ons. the bike has an exhaust, k&n, and power commander, he ran a best of 11.2 at 123 last week the evo hasn't been to the track yet. vids of both races will be posted soon.

I respect the fact that you posted this even though they were both losses.
Still, good runs man.
Can't win em all.
I'm ready to see/hear about the termi race.

I prolly wont get a chance to run him until we go to the track next sunday. he is a very hard person to talk into a street race, as he's got a racing ticket already and doesn't do it now.

i just like posting the stories tho. everyone's gonna laugh at the evo race because it's bad. the bike race I hold my own for a while so it's ok. haha.

Definately respectable losses greddy. The outcome of that evo run mustve been a helluva shock according to the last thread about it. Sounds like a damn strong car. Looking forward to the vids!

BTW, I really hope your buddy can man his car better then the termi at the track tonight. 8.50's all night, bouncing all over the limiter, etc. Pitiful....

Edit: Whos gonna laugh? Hell, everyone finds someone faster out there. No shame in that loss bro, it is what it is

something was wrong with the evo the last i heard, some pulley was lose and smacking around, and the knock sensor saw it as knock and was pulling a **** load of timing. that's been taken care of now but I didnt expect the restult to be that bad haha.

Seems like those EVOs are either ON or OFF. When they're tuned right and running right, they do work. I can totally see there being that much difference from last time considering how finicky those cars are. With that said, you did good man.

Sounds like you got one hell of a launch on that bike, lol! I definitely don't want to do any digs against you anytime soon. Putting any ground on a 600rr from any speed is an accomplishment, imo.

yeah this thing launches amazing. the bike race i did a 2 second burnout because we were on the highway and i didn't want anyone to come up out of nowhere, because of that i didn't stall it up quite as high as i would at the track and it did spin just a tad, so i cant wait to feel this thing get outta the hole at the track.

I'd imagine you could pull a 1.5-1.6 60' at the track. You can really here that converter locking up in the vids, sounds good man.

I pulled a 1.61 i believe in my '95 when i dropped the clutch at 5k, and this thing feels like it launches even harder. but if i could get a low 1.6 i'd be real happy. that alone would be good for an 11.
