We go from about a 60 roll to 85 he had about 1 car to 1 1/2 cars on me then he hit his brakes. Later down the road we caught a light we both launched and spun, he spun a little bit more than me and at 65 he had about 1 1/2 cars to 2 cars on me. Overall I was impressed with my car. BTW I did have the system out of my car.

That's not bad, the auto '05 V6 is capable of low 15s, like 15.1.

 

2 cars is not walked and if I could sell my 6 I would but ya know insurance is killer.

Not that I would say that anyone needs to buy a GT or Cobra, but looking at your numbers I'd say your right about where a stock 05 GT is. So any race should be a drivers race, I don't think you would be able to walk an 05 GT unless you raced a poor driver.

 

U do realize the 05 v6 is about as fast as your car right

 

yeah 05 v6's are pretty fast but they will never take a v8 assuming both are stock. and mine isnt totally stock. i laid the wood to my buddys 99 v6 by a couple bus lengths and 05 stang v6's have 10 more hp than the 99's? i think i could handle it.

 

so. my car is close to stock. just a little bit here and a little bit there and 272 hp to the crank. that's more than a 99+ GT. with bolt-ons. was your buddies v6 stock? i think the numbers on the 05 v6 are 210 and the numbers on a 96-98 GT are 215. i don't know torque. and since they weigh almost the same, it it very close. you just have to know how to drive.

 

you have to have more than a few bolt ons to run 13.51 in a V6, when ive seen plenty of stockers run in the mid to high 15s...so what is done..?
