are you talking about in total what do you need to do for the track? depends on what the track says. mine was nothing special. helmet was the only thing you had to buy and everything else was just like making sure stuff was secure and not broken.

thats weird that you only need a helmet if faster than 14. i need a hemet to run a 1/8th mile track. so you dont have a radiator overflow? you should. yea mine said you needed a radiator overflow tank too. all cars have them and i dont know why you would take it off.

I'm sorry I forgot to mention I am retarded. I wasn't sure my car had an overflow due to the fact that I have had some antifreeze on the ground on really hot days. If I have one all the better, is my battery track legal though? I will grab a helmet cause if I do less then 14 seconds I am going to need it anyway while beating my head off my steering wheel. Thanks for the help

well depending on how hot your car got, the radiator fluid will expand, making pressure causing the cap to push up letting the fluid go into the overflow tank and if it gets super hot and fills up the tank to the top it will leak out through the hose which leads just to the bottom of the car. well if you have your fluid filled correctly to the cold line when your engine is cold, i dont see it doing that. maybe you dont have a tank and when it gets to hot it goes strait to the ground. you should easily be able to reconize the tank. do you not know what it looks like? it should be somewhere in front of the car next to the batter. there will be a cap on it that will say radiator fluid or something. if you dont have one, get one. regarding the batter, make sure it doesnt move. i think with all mustangs they are bolted down. check it out to see if it is held down. i know my like clamps on to the base of the battery. sort of hard to explain.

if your car is all original, it should pass a tech inspection..tell them that it is all stock...the tech inspector shouldnt be too rough on a first timer with nothing done to the car,.
