What would work out the best? I'd have to wait till tax time for a final tune/Et streets. I know of a handful of other srt's from mild bolt on's to a S3 car and a stock motor low boost D65 one.

Really depends on what kind of racing you guys want to do. I'm cool with street or track, but a track would be less headache imo. Be nice to see what your car actually runs too. Is Roxboro still doing test n tune? I heard they were shutting down for good after this year. Anytime, anywhere is good for me though. My LTs will be here Friday and I hope to get done installing them by Saturday night, so I'm good after that.

Are you getting the tune checked out afterwards?

I'd really prefer a 1/4 track with a fwd friendly water box. lol. 1/8 just isn't enough to get moving decent.

I agree, my vote is on the 1/4. Especially with your car. I'm going to make sure the tune is right. Might even throw it on the rollers just to see what she's getting to the ground. Fayetteville is FWD friendly and has been prepped good so far this year, but I know its a long drive for ya'll.

Hmm. After I get my dumptube in the mail (bleh, broke off) I will be able to go WOT again. So really any time after that. Though I'm leaving alot of power out on the tune. I'm only at 26psi. I really need to order a wot box, my trans wont let me wot shift 1-2 and 2-3 so boost drop off is killer on this turbo. Should be solid after that. Though I will likely get killed in the 1/4 now. Spins till I hit 4th on these crappy street tires.

These are what I'm looking at.

1/4 mile track for sure!! I was not impressed with Fayetteville this spring for Draggin' Rights!! I spun like crazy. 1.9 - 2.1 60' times on the exact same setup as I went 1.69 - 1.72 at MIR.

I rented a '10 G37 sedan last year for our trip to Kentucky. It was a very impressive car. I know it had more ***** then my '11 V6 had when it had the 2.73's, but I don't think it could hang with my car since the 3.73's.

No rush man, get what you need to get it right and we can plan around that. No point in going out there unless its right. Those tires are a must have for you at this point.

Track prep did suck back in the spring. I went out there A couple times and it almost irritated me how bad it was. They stepped it up later in the summer and it's been good since then. There's a lot of rubber down at this point. It might of been bad in the spring due to the track being closed all last winter, not sure. I've been pulling mostly 1.93-2.0s on streets, so you ought to be fine on a tire.

A geared tuned 3.7 should be a little quicker than the Infiniti. Mine has 3.73s and LSD being an S model, so it jumps out of the hole pretty good. I highly doubt it has the top end to keep up though. It's basically a 13.7, 102 mph car.
