Kerns vs Subaru Legacy Spec B
So this weekend I decided to head out and have a little fun. One of the races I had was vs a Subaru Legacy Spec B. I didn't know much about the car before the races and just had heard that it was pretty quick. So we decided to line them up. All in all we did 7 races. 4 40 rolls, 2 60 rolls, and 1 20 roll. Races are as follows...
1st 40 Roll: He honks it off and I can barely hear his horn so on what I believe is the 2nd honk (really it was the 3rd honk) he takes off and instantly puts about 1/2 a car on me before I can react. I hit it and my tires are cold so i proceed to spin. He get about a car and a half out on me before I finally get traction. I shift into 3rd and start closing the gap. By the top of 3rd I am at his back bumper. I slam 4th and am closing in on his front tire when he has traffic ahead so he lets off around 110mph.
2nd 40 Roll: Same thing pretty much, I can't hear the honks, I spin a little less this time, but then miss 3rd. By the time I get back into it he is probably 1 1/2 to 2 cars up on me. I start catching up and he lets off shortly after. We talk about how I am having trouble hearing him so we decide that I will honk for the rest of the races.
3rd 40 Roll: I honk it off and we both nail it. Pretty much just stayed side by side through 2nd. I slam 3rd and I start to inch out on him a little bit. By the top of 3rd he is around my back tire. I hit 4th and then I start pulling a little harder on him. By the top of 4th I have about 2 cars on him.
4th 40 Roll: Pretty much a mirror image of the 3rd roll. Even through 2nd, slowly pull in 3rd, then pull a little more in 4th.
1st 60 Roll: I start in 3rd and honk it off. As soon as we hit it I slowly start to pull on him around the same rate as from the 40 rolls. By the top of 3rd I have almost a full car on him. By the top of 4th I have a 2 cars on him and we shut down.
2nd 60 Roll: Mirror image of the first one.
20 Roll: Higher rolls are usually better for me, and because he is awd we decided to do a low roll for him. We slow down to 20mph and I down shift into 1st. I honk it off and luckily for me, because of the previous races my tires had heated up. 3... 2... 1... we both nail it and I jump out a little on the hit. By the top of 1st I have 1/2 a car on him. I slam 2nd hard and luckily get traction. Through 2nd I put another 1/2 a car on him. I hit 3rd and put another car on him. Slam 4th and put 1 more car on him before we shut down with me up 3 cars. There was a guy in an 07 Cobalt SS that actually recorded the 20 roll from up ahead.

awesome race kerns! that subie looks sick tho. at first it didn't sound like it was modded and i was reading the races and like, wtf those things must be super subies to be keeping up with kerns. lol then i see the extensive mod list and whp. good job man.

I dunno about that, if they have similar trannies as the wrx's they're super week and he cant really launch it. but now looking at the mods list it shows a 6 speed so it's prolly stronger.

Haha, i've noticed the subaru crowd (and i'm sure other groups do too) really like posting every little thing they do to their cars on their mod lists...
