Default Ran A Camaro

Just ran a camaro z28 from a 40 roll. It was automatic with gears, a $3000.00 racing transmission, and some minor bolt ons, I forget what else he told me.

It was 40-140 and I had him by about 2 inches all the way up to 125-130, soon as we reached around 125-130 he got past me and won by about 1/4 of a car.
I thought I did pretty good for only intake and chip.

Should I have won this race? Or Should he have beaten me by more?

uhh.. what "gears did he have? With an auto LT1 and 3.73's he would have needed to be at 4800 RPM in 4th gear to be going 140 MPH. And since the fbodys don't ****ft into 4th gear at WOT..... yeah.

rule of thumb. races done in overdrive are crappy and no way to tell performance.

If you read the first post, it says the camaro had a $3000 racing tranny so I doubt that overdrive played as much of a part.
I'd say this guy did really well against an LT1.
