Ran A Camaro
Even better way to look at it.. "anyone who belives someone he just street raced about his mods should be floged"
Think about it. Why would he have a 3000 buck race tranny and still be on the stock rear? Why would you be guessing that overdrive had nothing to do with it? for all you know the "race tranny" could be a 4L60E biult by level 10. It would retain the stock ratios. even if it was a race tranny, why would anyone assume that it has no overdirve? Was this race taking place with the camaro on a hauler? I would hope so, cause without overdrive and "gears" he would be pulling a very healthy redline cruise RPM.
'My point is... don't guess. Untill have have some proof of anything, consider it stock. Otherwise your just going to be playing a guessing game that will lead to more questions and less answers. However I still stand by my saying that races done in OD (or over 120MPH) are pretty pointless on the streets. Of course to me if you want to know performance you wouldn't be street racing but thats a whole different post for another time.
