Is the gain mostly up top? Did you notice any loss in low end TQ?
Gain is obvious above 4500rpm... Down low feels exactly the same as the stock cam. Of course with the longtubes on now it's a lot different but I'm making a bit more power.

I like the LS6 cam, works even better with LS6 heads.
Yeah I've been pricing heads... Just it sure it's worth it right now. I will wait and see how it looks on the dyno... More than a couple of people made 370+rwhp with 241 heads. Looks like 10-15rwhp gain on 243s and that's another 500.00...might try for ported heads and try to get over that 400rwhp mark. Right now though I'm content.. Also have 152k on this engine so not looking to blow it up chasing numbers just yet.
You can do 2v cams for like 600 bucks but thats assuming you do the labor and dont swap the valvesprings or anything.
I wouldn't do a cam swap without swapping valve springs, especially not in my 3v the gains are so minimal in the first place, I'd rather spend a little extra and do it all. It's all in the same spot anyway for us ohcs. I cant speak for the 2vs though, not sure how they respond to cams.

About the same as any other NA 2v mod, crappy and not worth the $$$.
I guess gain of 20-30 rwhp are possible on an NA combo?
The only real gains I ever see is on boosted cars....
Ive seen them gain damn 100 rwhp with blower cams.
