LS1 Vs. 5.0
Dtony has a mostly stock weight car with full bolt-ons, automatic, torque converter(I think its either 3200 or 3400), 4.10s, full LT headers, Boss intake manifold, big and littles i think, with drag radials, 4.10s, driveshaft, and he ran 11.3@118. I've seen a couple of people posting 119mph traps with bolt ons. but i haven't seen any 120 traps without weight reduction. like MattD put a 5.0 in his gutted 2007 GT body i believe he has, or 2006 with bolt ons he ran 10.8@124. I think his car weighs in at like 2900lbs or something like that.
also, your guys' DA and stock 11's talk is funny... made me lol.

You know we just like f'ing with you on the DA thing, Mishri
So you've seen some guys that have gone 119 with just bolt-ons (full exhaust, tune, intake, pulleys)? Street tire or no?

Second pass of the evening with a D/A of ~2,300' above SL. No real record setting expectations.
Results:
11.23@125.2
This corrects to a 10.91@128.86 at SL.
Mods to the car are:
Pypes full exhaust
Circle D 5C converter (4000-4200 stall)
3.31 rear gear
Boss manifold
Airaid CAI
UCA, mount , LCA's and relo mounts along with sway bar relo. Stock shocks and springs.
Alum. D/S
Corbeau driver seat
Tune
Tires/Wheels
Lower radiator support
D/S loop
Rear seat delete <---not much to be had for weight savings
he later ran an 11.0@124 in better air.
I can't find the post from the guy that ran 119. he probably was running 15s like the others, ive only seen people run times with drag radials, haven't seen any full slick times yet, atleast from the bolt-on crowd.
what i find interesting about that guys post though is that its about a 5mph higher trap than anyone else with bolt-ons, but he does have suspension and weight reduction that the others dont have.
don't blame me, it was just a copy/paste of someone else's post, mostly because his results seem way better than others, but like i said, suspension/weight reduction... still, 5mph...
