srt4 got his revenge...w/ daytime vids
well my buddy finally got around to installing his wot box yesterday so after work today we lined up for a couple races. 2 40 rolls and 1 30 roll. all the races it was evident his car was the faster one, the 2 40 races were clean and he pulled about 2 cars on me. the 30 roll his missed 3rd so i pulled about half a car on him but he still hung right there and you could tell he was starting to come around me. every time we never went past 100 as my car has developed a mean vibration up that high. got vids that i'm working on uploading now.

^ lol i know. obviously my very mild blower cams didn't do much for me n/a. it just sucks i'm trying to whip up a nice little video and he has like 5 mods compared to the crap ton i have and he still put a whoopin on me.

:/ more and more this proves that I don't want any more bolt ons for my 2v. Once I get my d/s installed I'm done with bolt ons. At least it's good to see your 2v running strong and well. Kinda looking forward to the videos. would your buddy do any dig races?

He would have done digs if i asked, seeing as he could have tried out his 2step. but if we did he would have spun hard and i highly doubt he'd ever be able to come around me as even with street tires my car still launches good. so we just skipped that. I'm very sure that when i swap this car out to a manual trans it would be a very very close race, this auto just sucks up too much power. vid is uploading as we speak.

I need to get my tune reworked before I spray. it's very safe but the car bounces off the limiter every gear when i spray, it's commanded to shift at 6300 but it revs so quick it hits the limiter every time, need to have him command it to shift at like 5900 so it'll shift at 6k+. the first race i had it in manual 1 and whenever i try and manual shift the car it also bounces the limiter so i have to just floor it and let it downshift itself like i did on the other races.
also another note, i just remembered i was on my '93 street tune for these instead of the race tune. altho i dont see it changing the outcome much of any.
