Its not that complicated. Take the best passes made, and then take all the half assed runs, and you simply have what the car itself can do, and what most of the drivers are capable of. Its that simple. My car CAN run 12.22 at 114 with bolt-ons because I've done it many times. Others can't seem to do it with a fukn blower strapped to the same car. Experience, DA, mods, track prep, etc....got to look at the big picture.

A 5.0 evidentally can run mid 12s or better stock. Most can't do it, but the cars have the potential when its all said and done. Hell, with 6 gears, high 300 RWHP, and a decent curb weight, they BETTER be able too, lol.

 

well with my trap my car should be capable of low 12s... but, I need a converter what you are saying is you haven't been able to run it with your setup, the trap speed isn't a question, it's the ET, 60' issue. With my time and others, frequently it's the DA that is the low et/trap.

I also believe every 5.0 car with my mods will do high 11s with the right DA. every car is capable of it with the same mods, not every driver is capable, although with the auto i'd hope they can, it's not that difficult, good burnout, deep stage, stab the gas and go. which is probbaly why i see a ton of auto 5.0s in the 11s but fewer manuals.

If you have the same exact setup down to the rubber and wheels of the guy that ran low 11s i'd say it's a driver problem, if you have a different setup it's a good chance it's the car then.
