OK, it's nothing spectacular, but, hey since I don't own a Stang anymore it made me happy. The Ex bought an 05GT with a Paxton 2220 and 373s with auto tranny. I have no idea on tune or other mods. Of course it has about 20k worth of Shelby visual mods too, but, all you who have seen my old Eleanors shouldn't be surprised. We were going to dinner late last week and on the turnpike a newish SS pulls up next to us and wants to play. All I know is he had exhaust. We both dropped to 50 and he honked it off. It was no big surprise I pulled on him in a steady four or five car lead to 120ish. That new Stang of hers runs really well with the big Paxton on it.......sadly it's an auto, but still fun with all the power.

 

Im confused as hell old timer... The 'ex' got this new car, and you're bustin a$$ in it? Thats pretty damn awesome! Lmao!

Good run though, it'd take a little bit of work to get an ls1 to keep up with those mods, much less the new(er) ss's.

 

Thats how us old dogs do it. We have all the experience so they keep comin back for more. Fo sho. Anyway nice race.

Don't sweat the auto trans.. I had both those mods (though a V3) and it hauled ***!

 

LOL.....yeah, we still hang out together. I was actually taking her to dinner in her car when it happened. I have no idea how much boost that thing is pushing but it feels pretty dang stout. It was just nice to run something different than the usual rice with no mods other than fart can that seem to pick on me in the dang truck.
