Tonight will be my first time at the track ever!!!!! im gone run my 2002 GT Manaul!!! i have street tires so im gone ride the clutch in first gear and try not to spin. Any suggestion are appriciated. When i get back from the track tonight i will post my 1/4 times and the rest of my time slips. What tire pressure do you think i should come down to??? i have new all-season street tires (avon) with only 1,000 miles on them with all original tread but they are no street slicks.

Good luck! I took the pressure down to 15psi in my Falken street tire. My tire shop said dont go under 20, so dont blame me if u take it down and the tires spin off. The reason u might want to try that is, I pulled a 1.87 60ft on almost bald street tires. My track was prepped good, and the line was very sticky. If u get those short times, dont be surprised to see mid-high 13's
