Default 0-60? how to figure?

if anyone doesnt want this post here, feel more than invited to move it wherever, i dont care

but advertised 0-60mph times for manual 99-04's is 5.4-5.5 or so
this is obviously probably a bit low, but what is the best way? or is there any way to find out your acceleration time from 0-60?

secondly, what are the best mods to get there fast? i mean, like, of your basic mods, would you consider gears and tires your best bet at cutting time from stock?

and finially, any estimates for my 99 with 4.10's and MT tires?

Pick yourself up a g-tech if you want a 0-60 time.

They are even less accurite for 0-60. There is almost no way that a car enthusist can accuratly measure 0-60.

1) get a stop watch.
2) as soon as you hit it, start the clock
3) watch your speedometer and stop it when you get to 60

Edit, it might work, who knows.

They use a wheel that mounts on the side of the car or a timing system like the track uses

It actually works. Better with 2 people though.
