Very close. You have to take into consideration torque curves and stuff. POWER FOR POWER THEY ARE =

 

if the 94 is stock and you have them 3.73s, i'd put my money on your 96.

If by a little bit u mean 4 pounds, than yes.
95 gt----> 3281
96 gt---->3278

The 5.0 makes more power at lower rpms which will give it the advantage off the line. Seeing that he has 4.10's and u have 3.73's, if he can launch, he will take you from the start and probably hold u off.
