Havent really had a chance to test this car in the last 2 years so I went out to a local meet and met this fella with an SRT4. About 5 runs total, about 3 pretty close to even, 1 he pulled a bumper and 1 I pulled a bumper. all runs 40-120+. In mexico of course. Also just found out just recently that the car has 3.27 rear gears which is a no no with the HCI setup, at least 3.73s are recommended so those will be going in in a week or 2 along with the spray.


Cars-
Mine: 85 fox mustang, 302, mild heads heads and mild cam, fairly decent intake, full exhaust, 5spd. 310whp/322wtq.

SRT4: From what I gather, built motor, headwork, stock turbo, boltons, 19lbs.

Camera car: 04 GTO, Ls1, cam only, longtubes w/ x-pipe and cutout, intake and tune 395whp.

 

Weird SRT-4 set up. But I've been told the stock turbo cars can be quick. What HCI combo do you have?

He mentioned he was getting ready for the next step in the build. Not sure what that is. Holley Systemax 2 heads, lunati cam, systemax 2 intake.

I dont doubt it. I cant see me keeping up if he does. Gonna take a decent size shot.
