While my heart belongs to Mustangs, I love the Challengers they are sexy looking cars. Would not mind having one that and maybe a Super Bee

Challengers always been a hefty girl :P Although it does puzzle me as to why the newer chargers are heavier than the challengers...

The new chargers are alot bigger than the challengers and they have twice as many gadgets in the doors like window motors, heavier rear seats, etc.

This car should help Dodge move more Challys and Chargers. Now that the 392 is going in the R/T they'll have a car to compete with the Mustang and Camaro on a more direct price point. I heard they will put the Hellcat in the Chargers. Can you confirm that?

The GT500 has failed in numerous tests as well (a lot of people try to use short tracks to pull off top speed runs and its just not enough straightaway)... hitting that close to 200 means someone with the right track setup will make it happen though. (*Unless its gear limited*) pretty impressive.

Those runs are impressive considering you didn't really launch it, but more or less rolled into it on that first run and pedaled it on the second. With some tires, someone with plenty of practice with the thing, and a well prepped track, that sucker ought to run damn close to low 11s high 10s I would think. Be nice to see a somewhat stripped down version for the track guys.

10.86 is what it ran. Deff impressive. Due to the weight I assumed the thing would struggle to go any faster than the gt500, but I guess that extra 40 hp overshadows the 300 some pounds difference.

Jeez, that takes some engineering effort to push a heavy car like that to a 10.86 on just DRs. Wonder if anyone has any dyno graphs of one. Curious to see if its underrated a bit.
