Another C5
Damn
I just want to run a stock Z06 and see how it goes, but all I keep running into are C5's....Grrrrrrrrr
Anyways, driving down a 4 lane road I saw a black C5 coming up pretty fast, very little traffic behind me, the roads infront of me were clear and no breaks in the median, so I figured why not?
He finally gets up besides me and I kinda laughed because it was an older guy and he didn't look like the type of person to drive like a moron to get besides me. Anyways, we got out far infront of everyone and slowed down to about 15mph and I let him start. He lurched foreward and I matched him, 1st gear with all my wheel hop I only managed to put him at my rear fender and by the time I got into 2nd and finally planted the tires I pulled out really hard and from my mirrors, put what looked like 2-3 lengths on him before I quit.
So he catches back up and this time we went from 25mph, again I let him start it and this time I was able to roll into the throttle a lot better and put him a couple feet behind my bumper and then just proceeded to pull away like he was standing still.
I've been spanking C5's, but I really want to run a Z06. There's one guy in town who called me out but his Grandfather owns a GM dealership and 'gave' him a Z06 and he's just done exhaust and now it's bottle fed, so it's kind of pointless. I want a good near-stock race...

Yeah. It'll be a drivers race pretty much.
I've seen some stock Z06's on radials break 12.0 and it was pretty freakin' sweet. But majority of Z06's I see at the track run in 03/04 Cobra territory of mid 12's, so I think on the street I'll be able to out drive them...
