This kid with a newer looking evo wants to race my 2002 s281 S/C. I know his car is turbo so I dont know if its a good idea or not. I dont know what year his car is but its probably no older than mine, what should I do?[
] oh btw, both cars are stock and my car is rated 375 hp (feels like a little more though), and his is rated around 270 -even though ive got 100 hp on him (i think), my main concern is that his car is alot lighter. what do you guys think about this?

You've got a Series II (eaton) supercharger huh?
That means you'll run mid 13s in a quarter mile stock. I'd build your car up a bit before you race. If you want to keep it all Saleened out, you could purchase a Series V supercharger and put out some serious power. At the very least, you could get a 66mm pulley from www.chicanesport.com

yeah, ive got the series II but if i was going to upgrade id go for the series IV (whipple). however, im gonna wait to do the S/C upgrade for a while -im going to do other upgrades like CAI, MAF, TB headers, slaeen brakes and methanol boost cooler first. after all that ill get the series IV and then forged internals and cams.
however, ill probably end up racing him just after i do CAI, MAF and TB -good idea or bad idea?

you got him. i like the EVO's, but, youll take him. hes only rated @ 276. youve got 375......from a dig, he might have you out of the whole, but, youll pull him in and pass him like nothing.........from a roll..........hes done. plain and simple. this ones pretty much in the bag for you.

Hope you can drive. if you cant, from a dig, he will own you. from a roll, id put money on you.
And some of you give the saleen supercharger too much credit. Why doesnt hardly anybody buy a saleen supercharger and slap it on their GT? because they suck ***. That mustang would be lucky to put 325 to the rear wheels.
if you wanted to do it right, id go with an aftermarket procharger.
