if the driver of the cavabalt is experienced, and hisss is...well, you know...hisss, there is a chance that the cavvy could hang. so long as he doesnt stop to hunt for a shoe or something...

Why are you talking **** about over peoples ride? Maybe a SS owner thinks a V6 mustang is gay.

 

Let them just go ahead and think that if that's what they want to think. Sure they would beat a stock six, but let a person do some nice mods on that six and the SS driver will be eating the stangs dust all day long. Now a stock cobalt coupe vs a stock v6 stang, now that's more like it.

 

If cobalts run low 14s or high 13s isnt that the same as a stock gt? 04 and under.

 

I just looked up the Motor Trend Cobalt SS test: 14.4 @ 99.3. With a trap speed like that, I would say that with a good launch (Motor Trend doesn't even try) it can run with a 99-04 Stang GT.
