06 cobalt

Yea dude, like I said in a similar post an SS cobalt would hang with the GTs in the 1/4 mile, but in the long run he will top out and the GT will still be going. Also when I was talking about a cobalt vs. V6 stang I was refering to the 145 hp coupe and LS modles. Hell I know we can't beat the SS, but considering the fact that they have a turbocharger, that kinda gives them an unfair advantage, put a turbo charged six up against the ss and it's all over, well if you hav a 94-04 manual anyway, 94-04 autos would wind up being a good race.

Same thing applies here, Why don't we just give them two extra cylinders why we're benchracing about things that can't be equalized.
Yea typo, supercharger is right. But in reply to that last statment, that would be like racing an 05 or 06 supercharged V6 against an 94-04 stock GT. The person in the v6 has an "unfair" advantage in that their lighter and faster than the GT, sure in the long run the GT wins, but its still "unfair" since their is a big difference in performance. In other words if these two cars were on the track they'd never meet because they would be in two different classes, that's what I ment. Yea, the 6s have 2 more cylinders than the SS does, but since he's lighter and has a supercharger on the car along with a lightweight package hes running way faster that a stock, or even slightly modified 94-04 v6 can, now an 05 or 06 V6 vs an SS, that would be interesting. Damn, don't take everything so litterally.
Who even cares RUN WHAT YOU BRING. Its just stupid when someone talks **** about another car for no good reason. I remember when the srt4s were always being called gay and its just a neon and now they get respect. Sure some of the owners are dick heads but your gonna tell me there arent mustang and maro owner dick heads?

No it would not be the same, the SS comes OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR with a supercharged engine!!!! You're talking about modified v6's versus god knows what else. The rest of us are talking about stock cars.
So by your theory, a 03 cobra is not in the same class as the LS1 because it comes supercharged, so to make things fair, we should get to modify the LS1 and outfit it with a supercharger? Or should we just unbolt the cobras supercharger "to make it fair"? WHY DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND A N/A CAR AND A FORCED INDUCTION CAR BUILT FOR BOOST ARE NOT THE SAME!!! Ford did not just throw on an aftermarket blower on a untouched N/A engine because it couldn't make big power N/A. It designed a car with forced induction in mind and we all saw the results. Stock versus stock
