Whats the best way to do a burnout with an automatic...i never really wanted to try and screw up car

it's a mustang. you "screw up car" by not doing burnouts.
bring the car to a stop and floor it as fast as you can.
if that doesn't work, hold the brakes with your left foot, and push the gas with your right. right after you've given it some gas and the motor revs a little, lift off the brake.
you'll burn some tire off, but you won't damage the car unless you hit something.

Im not talkin about just doing burnouts for fun, but i plan on going to the track on Saturday, and was wondering how they do it before they run. (guess i coulda said that before)

Get your rear wheels in the water. Hold the brake down with your left foot, gas it with your right foot, and let off the brake. It's called a brake stand. Works great with 4.10's and a T-Lok!!
But if you're using street tires, DON'T burnout. Go around the water pit.

i have 4.10s in my auto but the nest way is to brake stand. like stated above. whats T-lok and whats it do?

its good to spin street tires, but just for a quick second so you clean all the crap off of them.
