I purchased my 06GT in Oct 09 just to race it. I added the blower kit by Nov 2010. Won my first race in 2011. After finishing for the year in 3rd, 4th and last year 2nd, this year I finally won the championship at my track. The Sportsman class is the busiest class with 25-30+ cars every event. I have nearly 500 passes on the car now and I must say, these cars are work mules. It runs as good now as it did when I first added the blower. In 11 events this year I won 4 and had 2 runner ups and 3 semi final finishes. Needless to say I am stoked.

For 2016 I plan to upgrade my intercooler water pump to the 2013 GT500 unit and install some corbeau seats. Car is running 12.2s, I may consider a new torque convertor but dont want to change classes. 11s would put me into a different class and I have no desire to be the slowest car in a 10-11 second fast class. LOL

For those of you that havn't tried bracket racing, give it a shot. You may find it as addicting as I do. Here is a run from our Jan TNT session. Vette never had a chance. Haha.

Congrats on the Championship, that's very impressive. And also impressed with your car, 500 passes and still going strong. That does say alot about the Mustang.
