Meet up with a colleague who as a 2015 HC to cruise to the Sunday spot.



Well the of course we have to see who's faster......

Race 1:

I hear him downshift so I figure he's feeling frisky, I drop to third, 50 mph or so, he's a novice and doesn't know the three beeps or such and takes off. I nail the go pedal and quickly jump a fender out in him, run it out to top of thrid and let out around 105 a car plus ahead.

Race 2:

The Sunday spot was so jammed that five-0 had closed it down!!

So we are cruising home, he starts pacing me........

I hear the throttle blip from him, I again drop to third, 3000 rpm, I wait patiently, ready to pounce and show the HC the *** end of the Shelby......

He nails his loud pedal, jumps a fender on me, I follow with the sound of the 5.4L power plant totally drowning out the kitty kat.....

The Shelby launches forward and quickly closes the gap, let her eat to 6700 rpm and power shift her to fourth as she screams bumper ahead of the green machine.

As the revs start to climb, the Shelby stretches her lead, as redline approaches she is a car ahead and I let out as the race is won.....

First run in with a HC, the move well for a stock car, just not well enough....

only took it once, got asked not to return without added safety equipment

I could not launch it, ran a best of 11.40 @ 139 (hides head in shame) @ 20#

best it ever went was 9.6 @ 146 with 24 psi

 

Congrats on the Hellcat wins. But if your car traps 140, you'd had better win lol.

Pretty impressive for the Hellkittie to hang as well as it did.

 

True, I've never ran one, just watched them run, so I have nothing to compare them to.

But I do know my wife wants one lol. Maybe when all the kids have moved out............
