Starts but immediately dies and then does nothing.
Before I start, I have read through and searched the forums and while there are some threads that have similar problems as mine, I have Tried the suggestions that pertained to me to no avail.
While I am not new to mustangs, this is my first one that I am having serious problems with. I got a 2000 mustang GT last Saturday. It was running roughly, like it wasn't running on all cylinders, and would not accelerate past about 60 in fifth gear. I got home and did the basic tests.
I pulled the connectors off of the ignition coils to check to see if he idle would change, four had no change. I pulled the connector from the MAF and it was functioning. I checked for proper fuel pressure and it was reading between 30-32 at the fuel rail. It had two codes thrown for the camshaft position sensor and the catalytic converters (has no cats) but still has 02 sensors plugged in.
Later that night I fired her up to go around the corner and she died and would not start again. The next morning I attempted to start it and it started for three or four seconds and then sputtered and died, feathering the gas pedal did not help any. All of the electrical components such as headlights, radio, ect, work, and the car is cranking over consistently but will start for three or four seconds and then not start again, even just for a few seconds, for multiple hours.
So far I have replaced: oil, oil filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs, camshaft position sensor, and the four bad ignition coils. I cleaned the mass airflow sensor with the proper cleaner, and also cleaned the throttle body and plenum.
Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with a problem of this nature?

how many miles are on the car. that cam sensor fault has me concerned that you possibly skipped time do a compression check if you are out of time the readings will be low. im not saying its definatly this but if you have spark and fuel all thats left is compression

Check all the wiring in the harness for the cam sensor. It could be as simple as you just have a bad cam sensor, or the cam sensor could be covered in gunk and not reading correctly. Symptoms include ,,, hard start/no start, missing, lack of power etc..
The car is telling you where to start looking for the problem. First thing you need to do is eliminate that cam sensor code.
