If the Camaro beat you with your Mustang having the mods you listed. They aren't telling you something. No way they should have left you. You can see in the video. The car I was racing red lighted. Had a 1.8 sixty. And I still ran him down before the 8th mile pretty easily. my car was trapping 116-117 and the DA was still a little on the positive side. I'm betting it'll run 11.5 with good fall air. 11.3-11.4 if I rip out the interior. And borrow a set of skinnys from a friend. And bolt them on.

Nice run BB, you've got that car hauling it. My 01 SS needed a cam, heads, stall, all kinds of **** to run an 11.6. Gotta love the direction modern cars are going! Those new SS's are quick, especially the automatics. I hear they're a nightmare to rip into though, can swaps require the front cover and oil pan to be removed, etc...but nasty none the less

Yea, Im getting a feeling I got sprayed. Just came across 2 guys (one auto one manual) driving 6G camaros at our local 1/8th running about a 1 tenth slower on average and same 1/8th mile trap that I was running bone stock.

Yea they are quick stock. I've seen 116 traps out of them in less than spectacular air. They are not as mod friendly as the coyotes. So it's easy to even things up with them.

That sounds more like it.

That's what I hear. Greddy on here works at Livernois and said they are a MF'r to cam too. I guess if you just want a quick car with no plans of spending serious money on its a good choice. I'd personally get bored with a new SS in that case.

The Camaros are sooooo DAMN expensive compared to the Mustang to begin with. A nice 2SS is 45 grand. At least the stealerships are starting to come off the sticker price.

Not sure if they went back to old pricing but last month they had great rebates.

They have to get rid of the giant backlog of 2016s sitting on the lots. They have 120 days worth of cars that were not moving til the 20% price reduction hit.

Because he owns and modded both. Maybe when you own and mod both you can add some wisdom here.
