that's called pacing.

i almost always get paced by cops late at night. they'll ride my **** to see how fast i'm going, then continue to ride it to see if i'll take off to get him off my *** or not. there could be a completely empty lane beside me too. if you don't break check or zoom off, they'll just go around you.

 

And if you switch lanes the automatically think you are accepting guilt for whatever purpose they are riding your *** for and flip the lights on.

"Why did you switch lanes?"

"Uh, well you were following me closely?"

 

lol thats the best way, or when the change lanes, speed up, get infront of them, and slow down

 

Or in my case, there's only one lane. So he follows me fer like 10 minutes.

 

When a$$holes tail me I slow down, not brake checking, then after a while they tend to start the fall back jump on it, fall back jump on it- thing and then one of the times they fall back I gun it and leave em.. It's fun. I try to get enough empty room ahead of me when I gun it so they never see me again. If they keep up woot woot, I get a race, no loss there.

 

Or he's running your plates on an MDT and waiting for the results, to see if you have a stolen car!

One time some idiot was right behind me on a 1 lane road. Goiing towards us was rush hour traffic so I slowed to like 15 for a while. That guy was pissed.

Funny you asked that. When I was a police explorer, I was on a ride a long one nite. We went by a bar, and this guy standing outside flipped us off. That wasn't nice! We went into the bar, and basically dragged him out. The cop I was riding with gave him 2 choices. Drunk in public, which he'd go to jail for the nite, and pay a $100 fine, or Improper hand signal. Which would go on his driving record, and he'd be paying a fine, and his insurance would probably go up.....You guess which he chose.
