I was crusin down the street this afternoon and I pass an audi with a ski rack on top of it. as the light a ways up turns red, i check my mirror to make sure im 5-6 car lengths ahead of him so when i pull into his lane to be 1st in line at the light it doesnt look like im cutting him off (being polite ). anyway, the light turns green and Im shifting normally (definitely not racing) when I notice that this guy is riding my @$$. so i down shift to second and just listen to the SC whine as he fades away in my mirror so i let off around 65-70 and a few seconds later the guy flys by me and shoots me that look like "I just smoked you." i wish i could have cought him and destroyed him in a real race so i could give him that look like "yeah thats right, your only mod is a ski rack" but he turned onto a side street.

 

i seem to be getting those more and more. had a civic and now a focus do it to me. except i never even dropped it or rev'd it up.

 

well i only dropped it to get the guy to get his air intake away from my mufflers because thats about how close he was. I used to brake check people when I had my 98 V6 but I love the saleen too much to risk that.

 

I just slow down for jerks like that. Nothing dramatic, just slow down....pi$$es them off to no end!

 

I like to downshift and blow em away...then slow down...

 

I got tailed like crazy today too...by a COP! I was turning right and he was coming, still far off so it's not like I cut him off, and he just hauls right up to my bumber and stays there for like 3 miles!!!! Then out of nowhere he passes me! Any longer and I would have flipped him off!

 

Years ago, my bud got cut off by a cop turning left in front of him in his 67 fastback. So what does Dave do? FLOORS IT RIGHT AT THE COP! Cop just punched it and kept going![sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif]

 

I wish I had the ***** to do something like that. But those rookies are ticket happy!

HaHa! The most I've been scared is one time I was at a light and gunned it for fun. I checked around to make sure there wasn't any cops, none in sight. So I floored it on green and all of a sudden I look to my right and there's a cop that magically appeared right next to me! It followed me for a while, but I guess he had a mustang too!
