What do you guys all recomend for clutches? Keep in mind its not for a mustang... 68 olds 442. 455 big block pushing just over 500ftlbs.

Im thinking SPEC, McLeod, or Hayes. Anythoughts? Its not a daily driver, more or less a street/strip car, so it needs to have good lock up but still be remotly tolerable for street driving.

Thanks for the input

Jim

Stage 5 Mickey Thompson organic radial clutch with super tweeters and sony xplod amp.

Depends what tires you're using. Your choice of cluch is probably gonna depend on how well your rears can hook up. You probably dont want a stage 3 clutch if you're runnin on bias-ply tires. Not that you would be, being a strip car.
