not to sound like a ricer, but it is true, sometimes it is not just power that wins you the race
for example, 2 nights ago me any my buddy who has had a stock celica went decided to put our cars to the test.
of cource, me having the stang puts the celica to shame with almost double the power and more than double the engine size.
on the small scale races from stop lights and rolls, i toasted his *** and served it with jam
but when we hit highway, that was all his turf, from 60, i blast off to the hundreds in a couple seconds, leaving him a bit behind, but a couple seconds later he zips right by me at ~230mph while i am left in the mid to low end 100's

He said the celica is turbo, which means it probably had a bit of work done to it. Its perfectly feasible for a car to be faster than any [production car once modifications begin.

wait a minute.. aren't you the same person that beats LS1 and 99+ GTs in your 06 v6? which is pretty much stock?
nevermind, that was a turbo AWD WRX.
