well my buddy ran a 14.8 at his best in his srt4, which it's pretty much stock, don't race him on a rolling start, and he might be just a lil faster, but it's a driver's race

I am curious as to what the Mrs' new SRT4 will run at the track. She got the ACR package, which has better suspension and a little lighter in weight.

The suspension has been tweaked for the road course, which doesnt make it any better for a drag race. It probably in fact makes it worse.

Since it has adjustable struts at each corner, I might be able to tune it in a little better for launches.

Im sure you could, but most people that buy them are idiots, and probably arent even aware of what adjustable struts are. I see your point though.

First things first

i think there is a good chance youre going to get waisted in your 96GT,, those little pieces of crap are fast for such a mild looking (and in my opinion hideous) car

ive been to the track twice, both stock srt-4's were 13.9@100+, but then again, maybe the guy youre racing is a crappy driver

as for code, your wife, if she's a good driver, should be able to pull a 13.8 out of it STOCK

if not, you do it

(oh, and a 14.2@100ish is amazingly good for that car......)

Why do you say they are pieces of crap? And i would say a 13 is very good for that car, more then a few have hit 13s stock.

Yeah, it's pretty quick and it loves this cool weather. I don't drive it enough to get a real feel for it. The torque steer takes alot of getting used to. My car is at the tuner right now, so I am driving the lil go go gadget this week. I haven't had a chance to run anything in it. I am hoping to find a stock or bolt on GT on the road to see how it will do.

unfortunately i believe it would waiste a stock pre 05-GT, roll or dig.

now find someone who can launch better than i can, and it may be a different story

as for calling them pieces of crap, its just another way for me to be bias and let everyone know how much i dispise them, at the same time letting everyone know that i give them credit as due for being quick []
