Fastest "near stock" one I have seen was an 8.8 but he had plenty done to it. Stock turbo and all, but the bov and exhaust wasnt stock, among other things, not sure about what all he had. Then there was the guy in my unit who talked smack about how fast his was, how much he had done to it, and he pulled down an incredible 9.3 in the 1/8th.

His attitude changed when he watched my LS1 drive in, drop off a passenger, pull to the line, and click off 8.8's all night in the heat. he had to cool it off to get 9.3's, usually he was 9.4-.5 and did he ever talk smack about it too. Slow pos.
