The S4 is an Audi.
But last I knew the S4 had a 4.2L V8? Maybe I'm not finding the right information here? All I can find is 2000+ had a V8...

94 - T 2.2L I5
99 - TT 2.7L V6
03 - NA 4.2 V8
04 - NA 4.2 V8
I can semi believe this story, with the AWD even racing in adverse conditions with a supposed 15 second car can whoop on an LS1.
The question is, even with AWD, why would you want to race with snow and ice on the ground?

My girlfriends cousin (whos a dentist with a pharmacist wife) just bought a brand new 06
he had a twin turbo 2001 S4, but is hanging onto it to sell it.
ive never ridden in either, but he says the new one is insane, just an absolute blast to drive
it looks exactly like that pic of the red s4, or at least close, i'll try to find a pic of it somewhere

Audi S4. Twin turbo'd, different horsepower numbers depending on the year. Very fast and very capable AWD car, unbelievably comfortable inside.
I test drove a 2002 S4. My WRX was stage 2 at the time and felt faster, but the tiptronic gearbox on the S4 was like butter. It definitely hauled *** too, and those things are undertuned from the factory. My insurance company wanted twice what I was paying yearly to insure the WRX though, so I quickly passed on it.

Okay, call me ignorant, but what is an S4 exactly? It's AWD with a turboed 6-cylinder, but that doesn't narrow it down too much...And were the roads icy?

They are a popular car here in NY state with all the snow. They do the 1/4 stock in the high 13s.
