My COBRA vs INTEGRA
I would assume the same thing you are, but then I would be an ***. I would never have believed it if I would not have heard numerous other ppl say and tons of timeslips of him running 12.01 and thereabouts. No fart cannon or anything, looks just like it came off the showroom. Besides the wheels, I forget the wheel/tire setup he has. I'm figuring, for the $ he spent on this car, he could have had himself a way faster LT1 or foxbody or something that's about as cheap as his honda, acura, whatever it is was when he bought it. It's the box body style BTW.

LOL... Yeah that's true.. I saw this race back in 94. One fella had a 91 Mustang GT and i mean he had everything including gears.. He raced a stock 94 Z28 and lost. It was so funny. He sold it a month later. I never saw him again..</P>
Yeah LT1/LS1's are nice, yes they are faster, yes I had one, yes I sold it too. Mustang is much better all around car. Disagree? Can you buy a 03/04 F-body now? No? I guess there are a lot of people who think the Stang is a better all around car- the sales said it all. </P>
Not to bash the F-body, It is nice, plus I'd push a F-body before I'd drive an 800hp 4 banger, rice crap. BURN the rice!!!!!!! Only american V8 for me.</P>
And yes I'd love for GM to s/c the LS1/new lS2. I'd also love Ford to bring back the cubes 5.0, 5.4 or a 5.8.</P>

How is the mustang an all around better car? Lets see here, 24k for a 281 ci V8 making 260 hp/302 ft lbs mated to a 5 speed manual running 14s. Or 22k for a 350 ci V8 making 310 hp/340 ft lbs mated to a 6 speed manual running mid to high 13s.</P>
hmmmmm YeahThe mustang is an all around better car.It's not the Camaro's fault it was getting outsold by the Corvette. No, That was GM's fault for not marketing the car. Had they marketed the Z28/Trans Am it wouldstill be a live today. Butseeing as how the LS1 is still an all aroundbad *** engine,Pontiac Stuffed the C5 LS1 into what is now called the Pontiac GTO. Have fun trying to fight that car off withthe tiny 260 hp 281ci V8 in your"all around better car." By all around better car he doesn't mean only at the drag strip. For one who always claims to be surrounded by ignorant bast*rds, you sure are one to talk, hypocrit. He means for everyday driving, gas mileage, driver comfort. I was supposed to get a T/A, but my parents said no (kinda glad now b/c of all the stupid sh*t I just did) because they couldn't drive it...the seats are on the floor! It's much more of a performance oriented car, yes, but for those poeple who go to the track maybe once every few months, the Mustang is a much better choice.

Well ok, then. you wanna talk about daily driving? BOTH are going to be hell on snow and ice. Period. The Mustangwill beno better than the Z28 in the summer either. You wanna talk about gas mileage? Ok the Z28 will make on average of 4 mpg better than a Mustang GT will anyday, this with the Z28 making more power and being faster at the drag strip. The GT is rated at 17 mpg, same as the Cobra, which if I'm not mistaken... has a 1000 dollar gas guzzler tax nailed to the MSRP.</P>
Driver comfort depends on your height and weight so thats a person by person basis. Meaning that both cars won't suit EVERYONE, so you CANNOT claim a car is better all around with that as one of the deciding factors.Furthermore, aMustang GT will notcompletely out handle a Z28 at the track. If you think so then you have another thing coming, they're similiar in price and equipment, and if you think that the GT is a better track car stock for stock you MUST be one igorant bast*rd yourself.</P>
