i thought it was the SRT-4's are in the LS6 vette territory? and the cobalt SS's were in liegenfilter vette territory?
ive got a friend at work that wants a cobalt SS and says hes gonna rip me a new one and all this stuff in his cobalt.. i tell him its a glorified cavalier every time (well kinda is). haha. kinda like the SRT-4's are glorified neon's.

I went one day when i was bored and test drove a SS Cobalt... They're quick little cars... just a hair slower then the srt4 I drove. I think that double decker wing is damn ugly, but they're quick cars anyhow. Like the srt4 they can be made very fast very easy. I never drove a HEMI 300C, but the stock Cobalt SS runs mid 14 according to Motortrend.. and when they pinned the Srt4 up against it they ran identical 14.4's... Not doubting the kill, but the Cobalt deserves a lil more respect then some of you give it.

when are you guys goin to learn that every magazine artical and website is diffrent.. i would say we could listen to the #'s in magazine artical's if they all were the same but no two are rarely ever alike..we are not all pro drivers like they use. Some might take a magazine 14.8 sec car like the cobalt as I seen in road & track and run 15's cause ur not a pro driver.. in the road & track issue they had the srt-4 at 0-60 in 5.9secs, and 14.5 @ 98.4 mph and the ss 0-60 6.2secs, and 14.8@98.6mph, so yes they are fairly close but 300c in there 0-60 in 5.6secs, and 14.1@101.1.. yes those little four bangers are quick.. For the price they arent bad cars..but lets stop with the magazine racing already.. [:@]
