He claims now that he saw me post it up on the internet he was shifting at 5700 because he is used to a GT, and he was spinning a little. Doesn't matter to me though, whatever excuse he pulls out of his *** doesn't change what the outcome was. He knew we were racing, he should have drove better if what he said was true.

exactly....the not hitting fuel boost because of gas is 100% bs. good kill...seems like the excuses will keep on coming eh

There is a vid on here if a whipple charged goat pushing 460rwhp, so i dont see how he only pulled 1 little over 1 car with a 500hp car...im not doubting you but he needs the good driver mod.

Those were really short races, 50 to 85 and 70 to 100.
Hard to judge anything in a 2 to 3 second race.
Would be a big difference according to what gear you started in and if you shifted in such a short race.

On the 50-85 I started in 2nd and had to go to 3rd around 68. He started in 2nd and stayed in it. On the 70 roll we both went from 3rd and didn't have to shift because I shut down right where I have to go to 4th.

You know, I've pointed this out before. From a roll, GTO's are lethal. I've beaten a stock Cobra from a roll. But he handed me my *** from a dig. He did have drag radials, and a 6-speed. So that helped, but still. You don't want to mess with the LS2 on the highway.
Just like 01GT that said he put 3 or 4 cars on one from a roll with his Mach 1.
Although, if you recall his 01 GT with a catback ran 12.99. So who knows what to believe.

I had a highway roll with an '06 GTO (dual exhausts) the other day from 65 - 100ish. He didn't follow the "3 honks and go" etiquette and jumped the gun, so I was playing catch up. Other than the initial jump, we were dead even. Guy was driving a little crazy, so I didn't try to line up again. The funny thing is, an '06 Charger was trying to run as well, but must have been only a V6 with duals b/c we walked the guy pretty badly.
