If you are running 12's like your signature says, you should be having no problem with acceleration from 80-120, especially against a 98gt...</P>

98 gt's are sleds not to mention it being a convert. my friend has a coupe and its a dogggg. As for have 4people in the wrx, that would slow it down a lott, I know when I put anymore than 1 other person in my car with me I can feel a big difference with loss of power. you have to figure thats and extra 300ish lbs, and how many tenths is that good for in the quarter? it was a nice kill cant take that away from the wrx

The driver of the 98 must have been a terrible driver to loose to you with 4 people and some luggage. Are you sure he was racing or just driving fast? Those car's come with 225 horsepower and they can easily run low 15's high 14's with a very good driver. As for you running 12's i won't say that's it'snot possible, but i will say is this. If you do run 12's even with passenger's and luggage you should have lost to the GT. </P>


On another note.I was overyour wayon friday and i washoping i would runinto you so i can see this amazingcar of yours. LOL... But honestly chill with all that street racing. Just the other day a guy ina red WRX tried to get me to run him on a very wet I-5. I just looked at him and shook my head and kept on driving...</P>

Nothing wrong with GT's. You didn't understand what i was talking about. What i was refering to is this. I hate to see any GT's loose, especially to an Import. I wouldn't own one if i didn't like them.

 

ooh I get you, good call, it deff does suck gettin beat to an import, when I first got mine I got beat by a modded vr6 gold w. turbo. it sucked.....but it will never happen again<IMG src=smileys/smiley6.gif border="0">

 

not to be a jerk but losing sucks in general, wether to an import or domestic. i try not to race too often on the street. and i never keep it goiing for long. one quick pull and im done. i have never raced a stang with gears. i would love to try in spring. key word "try".
