So both of my new roommates drive Neon SRT-4's (2.4 liter turbocharged, intercooled). I just helped one of them adjust their wastegate today, and man, that thing sounds badass... kinda like a v-8 rumbling at idle, nice blowoff when he revs it. Says he runs a 13.5 1/4 as it sits right now and is hoping to make 500 hp by the end of the semester.
I havent ridden in his car yet, but i'm goin for a ride in my other roommate's SRT-4 which is supposedly set up to make a lot more power and less streetable. I'll let you know how it goes.

ahh grose. I think thats the worst sound ever. How can u say they sound like a v8? Everybody makes fun of the srt-4's sound.

That freaking turbo spinning(more psi than stock, i dont know how much) sounds like a freaking diesel. I think it sounds terrible, but they are fast ill give um that.

 

Yea those thinks are quick even stock...

 

because they have a TURBO!!! Put a turbo on any car and it will be faster.
Lets see how the srt-4 does without the turbo. Oh yeah, it doesnt even move.

 

I dont like that arguement anymore because what moves the 03-04 Cobra and the GT?
